Introduction

When it comes to choosing a college, you have a world of options in front of you. Perhaps you’re interested in a normal college experience: A good education, some good times and a good future. That’s great for some, but what about those, like yourself, who are looking for something more from their college experiences?

And in this time, when your options are wide open, perhaps you should consider bigger goals. Deeper learning. And a more rewarding future. Perhaps the Academy is more your style.

Here, you’ll get a world-class education. The opportunity to fly. And a guaranteed career right out of college. You’ll create bonds that last a lifetime. And you’ll develop into something – and someone - extraordinary.

It’s true that there is no financial cost to attend the Academy. But there is a hefty price tag. You will pay for your education with sweat, hard work, early mornings and late nights. You will be held to the highest standards, without exception. And afterward, you will be required to serve at least five years in the Air Force.

But with that price comes an experience you will find nowhere else. At the Academy, you will learn things you won’t find in any classroom. You’ll learn how to push yourself to the limits. You’ll develop your strength and character as a human being. You’ll discover what you’re made of. In short, you’ll learn how to become an officer in the United States Air Force.

Any college can prepare you for an ordinary career. Those who attend the Academy will become prepared for an extraordinary life.
